Frequently Asked Questions
What can I expect from my first visit?
The worship experiences at The Beacon include worship music and a message. The music is led by a worship leader along with a live band. The message is always focused on addressing the real issues that real people face in their daily lives. You can expect to be both encouraged and challenged by Pastor Wheeler or one of the other teaching pastors. The Sunday service lasts for approximately 90 minutes. You will find a friendly environment where everyone is welcomed.
How early should I get there?
Plan on arriving to the campus at least 15 minutes before the service starts. That will give you time to park, check your kids into Children's Church and grab a cup of coffee before the service begins.
Where do I take my children?
Our Children’s Church is just the spot for Preschool through 5th graders. Your child will experience age-appropriate teaching, music and fun activities designed to introduce them to a life-changing journey to follow Jesus Christ. Our Children's Church is led by staff and volunteers who will be there each week to care for and love on your child.
Where do I park?
There are designated visitor parking areas near the entrance. Just follow the signs when you enter the campus along with the guided assistance of our Parking Lot Ministry.
How is the music?
At The Beacon, our music is best described as contemporary. You will hear a song selection that will include selections from your favorite Christian bands and choirs.
What do I wear?
We are a casual church. Our membership is made up of people from different race, ethnicities and cultures. We encourage everyone to dress in a manner that is comfortable to them.
