The Beacon Hill Worship Center is excited to announce the Glorious Installation Banquet honoring Superintendent Anthony E. Wheeler. This event will take place Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 4:00 o’clock p.m., at the Westin Huntsville – Bridge Street, Town Centre, located at 6800 Governors West, Huntsville, AL 35806.





Superintendent Anthony Wheeler was recently elevated to the office of District Superintendent of the “The Legacy District”, Alabama First Jurisdiction Church of God In Christ, where Bishop O.L. Meadows is Jurisdictional Prelate. The Church of God in Christ, Inc. is the largest Pentecostal denomination in the United States, with more than 6.5 million members. 





Superintendent Wheeler has been the Senior Pastor of The Beacon Hill Worship Center in Madison, AL for eleven (11) years, The Beacon Center at Madison Square Mall, and now The Beacon Huntsville. As part of his new role, he has launched Vision 20/20: The Reintroduction of the Community Church. One of his primary focuses will be on Planting New Kingdom Minded Community Churches, which will exist for the purpose of reaching the needs of communities, while bringing Healing and Hope to individuals and families.


Since its inception The Beacon has delighted and inspired citizens of North Alabama and the world through several life changing initiatives.


  • A City United Car and Bike Show an annual community event held the Saturday before the Fourth of July yearly, Honoring our Veterans.


  • The Beacon Center at Madison Square Mall a resource center offering a free meeting space, free wifi, coffee and tea to students, job seekers, and entrepreneurs


  • Project Uganda & Soleless Souls a global effort bringing relief and hope to over 900 orphaned and needy children. 


  • Women’s Empowerment Weekend an event designed to empower and equip female residents of North Alabama in the areas of health and wholeness.


The Legacy District and The ReIntroduction of the Community Church represents the next phase and focus of the Ministry. This exciting plan of bringing Hope to Communities by Planting Kingdom Minded Community Churches will have a significant impact on the quality of life for the citizens and residents of North Alabama and abroad.
